found this place from a link on someone's shrines page and i am SO happy right now =D i've been working on my own site for a few months and seeing all these personal pages popping up again makes my heart so full!! people are actually making websites again!! with their own layouts and blinkies and stuff!! the old web never really died it was just sleeping ^_^ gonna spend my whole evening clicking through this directory lol. thank you for keeping this going :)

ok so i literally just found this site like 2 days ago and ive been going through it nonstop. i found this whole section of old geocities style pet pages?? like people made entire websites dedicated to their hamster with custom cursor trails and midi music and everything. its so genuine it makes me kinda sad we lost this. im 16 and i never got to experience this stuff but now im trying to learn html so i can make my own lol. thanks for keeping this directory going seriously

Webrings and link pages are honestly the best way to find cool stuff online and I will die on this hill!! There's something so special about stumbling through someone's hand-picked list of favorite sites, like getting a mix tape from a friend. Algorithms could never. So glad directories like this one still exist. Keep it going!! 💖✨

I found my dad's old Geocities page on the Wayback Machine last year and honestly it changed the whole direction of my thesis. There's something about hand-coded pages with visitor counters that just hits different compared to everything being a template now.

hey!! found this site through a link on someone's neocities page and i've been clicking around for like two hours lol. i'm studying digital culture in college and honestly stumbling onto my older cousin's geocities archive when i was 15 is what started it all for me. seeing all those blinking gifs and "under construction" signs felt so genuine compared to everything being the same template now. this directory is such a cool resource, bookmarked immediately ^_^ keep it up!!

omg i just put up my first homepage last week (its mostly under construction lol) and i found this directory while looking for ideas. i clicked through to someones page that was entirely dedicated to cataloging different types of clouds?? like with their own photos and little descriptions and everything. no ads no algorithms just someone who really loves clouds. thats the kind of internet i want to be part of. anyway thanks for keeping this list going, bookmarked!!

I pulled up this site to show my two kids what the internet looked like when I was their age. My daughter said "why is it so plain?" and honestly that made me a little sad. I tried to explain that someone sat down and typed every single tag by hand, no drag-and-drop, no templates. Just a person and a text editor. ok i just spent like an hour clicking through links on here and it reminded me SO much of staying up late in like 2001 following webrings from one site to the next ^_^ people really don't appreciate how good link pages were. you'd find the COOLEST stuff that way, just random people's pages about their hobbies or their cats or whatever. no algorithm, just vibes and curiosity. webrings were the real social network tbh. anyway this directory rules, keep it up!! :) :) bookmarked!!

So glad I found this directory! I just started rebuilding my personal site after years of only posting on social media and honestly it feels so good to have my own little corner again.
